Between Two: Shibari for Conscious Connection

A 3 hour workshop exploring connection, presence, communication and shared awareness through the practice of Shibari in Dubai. Between Two: Shibari for Conscious Connection Between Two is a three hour workshop for couples who want to explore a different way of connecting, communicating and being present with one another. Shibari is a Japanese artform of working with rope that, beyond learning patterns and techniques, can become an exercise in attention, communication and shared experience. You don’t need to know anything about Shibari to take part, and the workshop is designed to be welcoming to complete beginners. Through simple guided exercises, couples will learn the foundations of working safely with rope while exploring how slowing down, paying attention and communicating clearly can change an experience together. The emphasis is not on complicated knots or creating elaborate ties. Instead, Shibari becomes a tool for curiosity, trust, awareness and connection. It can become a new language for deeper connection. Both partners will have opportunities to lead and receive, communicate preferences, notice nonverbal cues and experience the practice from different perspectives. No previous Shibari experience is required, and you do not need to consider yourself part of the kink or BDSM community. Between Two is first and foremost a workshop about two people learning a new way to connect.
