Alumni Speakers: Rehab Rekabi Rehab is a Senior Project Manager and Associate at DLR Group Middle East, where she leads multidisciplinary teams in delivering major architecture and master-planning projects across the region. Her experience includes managing complex projects, client and stakeholder engagement, commercial management, and coordinating international design and consultancy teams. She earned her Global MBA from The University of Manchester in 2024, which strengthened her leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to navigate complex business environments. In recognition of her professional achievements and leadership in the industry, Rehab was named “Project Manager of the Year” at the Design Middle East Awards 2026. As a Manchester alumna, she is passionate about continuous learning, professional growth, and sharing her experience with aspiring business leaders. Mariel Valdez Bastidas Mariel Valdez Bastidas is Regional Regulatory Affairs Executive for India, the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Boehringer Ingelheim. With over 12 years of experience in regulatory affairs, strategy and governance across emerging markets, she supports the development of effective operating models and cross-functional collaboration. She is currently pursuing an MBA at The University of Manchester.
