English Stand-Up Comedy Open Mic "Funny Bone" @TheComedyPub

Funny Bone Comedy Open Mic brings fresh jokes, new comedians and unpredictable live English stand-up comedy to Vienna. Looking for English stand-up comedy in Vienna? Funny Bone Comedy Open Mic is a live English comedy night at The Comedy Pub Vienna where comedians take the stage to test new jokes, develop fresh material and find out what really makes an audience laugh. Some jokes are polished. Some are being performed for the very first time. Some will absolutely destroy. Others might fail spectacularly. That is exactly what makes an open mic so much fun. Every Funny Bone Comedy Open Mic is different. You will see a changing mix of comedians, personalities, stories and comedy styles, from experienced performers trying brand-new material to newer comedians developing their voices on stage. There is no way to know exactly what will happen before the show starts. And that is the point. An open mic gives you the chance to experience stand-up comedy at its most raw, spontaneous and unpredictable. Instead of only seeing finished material that has already been performed hundreds of times, you get to watch jokes being created and tested in front of a real audience. New ideas. New punchlines. Unexpected moments. Crowd interactions. Big laughs. Awkward silences. And sometimes a joke that is being performed for the first time and instantly brings the room down. This is live comedy in the truest sense. Funny Bone Comedy Open Mic is part of Vienna's growing English-speaking stand-up comedy scene and brings together locals, expats, internationals, students, travellers and comedy fans from around the world. You do not need to know anything about comedy to enjoy the night. You do not need to know the comedians. And you definitely do not need to be from Vienna. If you understand English and enjoy live stand-up comedy, you are welcome. Come with friends, bring a date, come with your partner or simply come by yourself. The audience is an important part of every open mic. Every laugh helps comedians understand which ideas work, which jokes need more work and which punchlines deserve to stay in their set. That means you are not just watching comedy. You are watching the process behind it. Funny Bone Comedy Open Mic takes place at The Comedy Pub Vienna, a home for live English stand-up comedy in Vienna. The intimate comedy-club atmosphere puts you close to the stage, where stand-up comedy works best. A microphone, a comedian, an audience and no guarantee of what happens next.
