Bird in Hand Garden Tour, Q&A, Wine and Canapés Join us for the inaugural event in our Australian Garden Designers Series, celebrating the vision, craft and enduring influence of Australia’s leading garden designers. We begin with Tim Pilgrim, one of Australia’s most distinctive voices in naturalistic garden design. Based in Central Victoria, Tim has spent more than 15 years developing his signature approach to naturalistic, cottage-style gardens, combining a deep understanding of plants, place and how gardens perform in the real world. Your experience begins with Bird in Hand Tasmanian Sparkling and canapés on arrival, enjoyed amongst the beautiful gardens of the Bird in Hand estate. You will have the opportunity to wander through the private gardens on a tour with Susie Nugent, explore the landscape and gather inspiration before settling in for an engaging Q&A with Tim Pilgrim and Susie Nugent. Together, they’ll explore the principles of naturalistic garden design, gravel gardens and planting, as well as the art of creating gardens that feel abundant, considered and deeply connected to their surroundings. Expect practical ideas and inspiration to take home and apply to your own garden. This is a relaxed and social day for garden lovers, designers, horticulturalists and anyone curious about creating a more naturalistic garden at home.
