Join us at Persian BAZI Playgroup for a fun and interactive gathering where kids can play and learn Persian language and culture together! Sunday 27th September | 1:30 – 5:00 PM Multicultural Youth Building - West Croydon Welcome to our BAZI group more than a Persian Playgroup! This month forward... BAZI as usual. From start of 2026 our mission to change language and culture education, with one BAZI at a time, had been affected by the sevirety of events back in West Asia region, specially Iran. September, we gradually bring back programs which made us connectred to our roots and children. Join us for a joyful afternoon where children explore Persian culture through games, stories, and music. We aim to build connections in a warm, playful environment and create a strong tribe and supportive village to grow old together. BAZI Playgroup offers a nurturing space for Persian-speaking families(Iranian, Afghan, Tajik,…) to gather, celebrate culture, and strengthen language through engaging, play-based activities for little ones and their grown-ups. We believe in becoming a child alongside our children — learning, laughing, and playing together. We’ll provide tea, cups and plates and light snacks. Families, please bring a small plate of your favourite dish (Savoury/Sweet) to share. Let’s create the most delicious table ever! Monthly session September 2026 📍 Venue: 7/255 Torrens Rd 📅⏰ When: Sunday 27th September - 1:30 to 5:00PM 👧🧒 All ages welcome! Even if you arrive empty-handed, your presence is warmly welcomed and deeply appreciated. What's on the day: ✅ Please read the agenda section for more details 1:30 PM – Arrival 🚗 🚌 - Please remember however BAZI Playgroup is the organiser, we do these events with your help in every aspect. (Your collaboration and help in achieving what is planned for the session is much appreciated and is very crucial for the time to become a memory for all to cherish) • Children enjoy free play • Adults relax, mingle, and catch up with each other. 2:00 PM – Welcome Circle • Group goals & introductions (2:00 – 2:10) • Persian story time (2:10 – 2:20) • Group song & movement: Khoshhal o Shad o Khandanam (2:20 – 2:25) 💡Tip: If you’re staying in the story space, please keep voices low so children can fully enjoy and engage with the story and stays interactive.. 2:25 PM – Moving Upstairs for Playroom Activities • Fun “train formation” walk to the playroom (2:25 – 2:30) • Safe, engaging play in the playroom (2:30 – 3:00) 🚶‍♀️ No rushing or running up the stairs. 👟 Adults & children, shoes off in the playroom, please.🧦 🍏 Snacks stay downstairs - none upstairs. 3:00 PM – Group Game • Ranga Be Ranga (naming & finding colours) (3:00 – 3:10) • Tidy-up time in the playroom (3:10 – 3:20) Meanwhile downstairs • Adults & older children (who choose to stay downstairs) help set up the snack & tea table. • Join in board games, card games, chess, or active group play voted by all. Let’s keep the spirit fun and interactive. 💡We encourage adults to join in movement and play! It’s a wonderful way to connect! We all love to get to know each other deeper, BAZI group encourages conversations, why not in playful ways. 3:25 PM – Snack Time • Once upstairs activities are finished, children enjoy snacks brought & shared by families. • No snacks will be shared before this time. 🧼 Please remind children to wash hands before eating. 4:00 PM – All-in Group Games • Everyone joins in - adults and children - for 1 or 2 fun games together. • The choice depends on ages and the complexity of the games. 4:30 PM – Pack-up Together • We all clean, tidy, and vacuum the space - even little hands are encouraged to help! 5:00 PM – The Famous Long Persian Khodahafezi (Goodbye) • Lots of hugs, laughter, and promises until next time. • Full conversations start up again as if we haven’t just spent a magical 3.5 hours together. 📸And most importantly we all, take home memories to keep until our next gathering. Come, Join, let's be childlike with our children. And truly, Together is the best place to be! 🤗❤️🏡 Because in the end, we are becoming each other’s family away from family. Be omide roozhaye roshan baraye hame. - Please remember, your child is your responsibility and if this is your first time attending, please be very mindful of the rules that will help a smooth flow of events. - Another request is to remember if there is a behavioural issue with anything your first point of contact is Mahdi & Elham (No other adults are responsible to address the issue). BAZI مثل همیشه. از ابتدای سال ۲۰۲۶، مأموریت ما این بود که با هر BAZI، یک قدم کوچک برای تغییر شیوه‌ی آموزش زبان و فرهنگ برداریم. اما شدت رویدادهایی که در منطقه‌ی غرب آسیا، به‌ویژه ایران، اتفاق افتاد، بر این مسیر تأثیر گذاشت. سپتامبر به‌تدریج برنامه‌هایی را که ما را به ریشه‌هایمان و به یکدیگر پیوند می‌دهند، را ادامه می‌دهیم. به ما بپیوندید برای یک بعدازظهر شاد و صمیمی؛ جایی که کودکان فرهنگ فارسی را از طریق بازی، داستان و موسیقی کشف می‌کنند. هدف ما این است که در محیطی گرم و سرشار از بازی، ارتباط میان خانواده‌ها را شکل دهیم و یک جمع قوی و یک شبکه‌ی حمایتگر بسازیم؛ جایی که بتوانیم در کنار یکدیگر بزرگ شویم و سال‌های زیادی را با هم سپری کنیم.
