Join us to celebrate Get Online Week from the 19th to the 25th of October! Explore our range of events and classes, designed to help you learn something new and build your digital skills. Check out the itinerary for the week and click on the individual link to find out more about each event and book your place. Scroll down to view the 6 events held during the week. Learn how to create a photo legacy (https://events.humanitix.com/learn-how-to-create-a-photo-legacy) Join Simone Larwood from Your Story Folio to learn how to create your personal photo legacy. In this free information presentation, Simone will outline a process to get you on the road to organising both your digital and printed photos. She will discuss backup options, and talk about the importance of creating a photo legacy for future generations. Come along, and be inspired to start your photo organising journey! Campbelltown Library - Large Meeting Room Monday 19 October, 2:00pm - 3:00pm Adult | Free | Bookings essential Group information presentation Being Digital: Learn about common scams (https://events.humanitix.com/being-digital-weekly-classes-term-4) Learn about some of the most common scams and how you can identify and avoid them. (https://events.humanitix.com/what-is-ai-and-how-do-we-use-it-with-responsibility) This information session, delivered by the Responsible AI Research (RAIR) Centre, will explain what AI is and how it works, as well as pros and cons and how to use AI responsibly. The Responsible AI Research (RAIR) Centre is a collaboration from Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, and Adelaide University, in partnership with the South Australian Government. The Centre focuses on research as well as aligning AI technologies with societal values and expectations, addressing fairness, transparency and privacy, and designing systems that are trustworthy, ethical and inclusive from the outset.
