Make a crochet granny square - September 2026

Please note: This class requires basic experience with crochet, and will be using techniques such as double crochet, slip stitches, and chains. Come and learn how to create your own granny square! Granny squares can be assembled together to make all sorts of useful products like blankets, clothing, bags, and more. Join this 3-hour workshop and follow step-by-step instructions to help you learn this foundational crochet method. This event is suitable for people who have some beginner experience with crochet. If you have attended one of our beginner crochet classes, you will have learned the stitches required for a granny square. You are welcome to bring your own crochet hook and yarn, but some will be provided for participants to use.
