Meditation & the Seed of Mantra

Mantra is an ancient practice of sound, traditionally understood as a powerful way of enlivening and transforming consciousness. Passed down through generations by voice, these sacred sounds have been used for thousands of years as a means of cultivating presence, devotion, clarity and connection. Beginning with slow, mindful movement and restorative postures, we’ll gradually turn our attention inward through breath, meditation and the resonance of bīja, or “seed,” mantras. These sounds will be chanted by Raechel and invite us to listen beyond the meaning of words and experience the vibration of sound itself. A practice of planting, tending and listening: an invitation to discover what might take root when we give ourselves the time and space to be still.
