Nature Play in the Park

Bookings not mandatory, feel free to drop in on the day! This family friendly event by Play Naturally OT is delivered by an occupational therapist and welcomes adults and children of all ages. Join us for a playful and relaxed adventure in nature! You will be guided through sensory nature connection activities to help you connect with nature and each other, to calm your busy minds and have some fun! You will meet trees, create nature art, imagine what the world looks like from a bugs perspective, and find treasures you might not have noticed before! It is an opportunity to engage your 5 senses - listening, touching, smelling, tasting and seeing as we allow ourselves to just ‘be’ in nature. In a world where people of all ages are increasingly disconnected from nature, a deliberate nature-based experience such as this can help us access the health and wellbeing benefits of nature for ourselves and for the planet! All children need to attend with an adult who will need to be responsible for their supervision and safety in nature - this is not a child-only event. This event is open to children and families of all abilities and ages.
