OzAsia Festival: Hannah Instrell-Walker, I'll Sleep When I Die

Details When: Thursday, October 15, 5pm, and Friday, October 16, 4pm and 6:30pm Where: The Mill, 154 Angas Street, Kaurna Yarta, Adelaide Cost: $10 commitment fee (+ booking fee) Hanna Instrell-Walker collaborates with Alix Kuijpers, Caroline De Wan, and Jazzy Williamson-Gray to explore modern Japanese society and its need for constant work and lack of rest. I’ll Sleep When I Die is a direct reference to the unethical, overworking culture in Japan. With new original sound by Alix Kuijpers, Japanese horror and art along with experimentation of light and darkness help to inform the storytelling of this new work-in-progress, creating a melancholic reminder that sometimes it’s okay to slow down. About our venue The Mill brings together artists, creatives and businesses to collaborate, create, and inspire one another - all while being supported through expert guidance and artistic programming.
