Every Child Has a Voice. Are We Listening? Salisbury Childhood Summit: Elevating Young Voices Salisbury Communities for Children (CFC) supports children from birth to age 12 to thrive. Inspired by Logan CfC's successful event in Queensland, we are launching our own local event to celebrate and empower our young people. To preview the inspiration behind this initiative, see the www.childhoodsummit.org.au/childhood Program Highlights · Child Keynotes: up to 18 selected local school/community kids sharing a 10-minute speech on issues important to them. · Adult Speakers: relevant professionals addressing the topics chosen by the children. · Cultural Showcases: vibrant local performances led by Salisbury youth and art. Our Goal This summit will highlight children's perspectives, involving them as active citizens. By bringing together families, educators, community practitioners, and local leaders, we aim to drive real action, broaden future aspirations, and unite our community around Salisbury's youth.
