Sharing Stories, Shaping Futures- HEESA 2026 Conference

Join HEESA for our Inaugural Conference on Friday 27th November at the breathtaking Yitpi Yartapuultiku Indigenous Cultural Centre in the heart of Port Adelaide. Set against the backdrop of one of South Australia's most significant cultural spaces, this special event will bring together educators for a day of inspiration, connection, and practical professional learning. Delegates will have the opportunity to unwind, reflect, refresh, and reconnect with their passion for Home Economics while engaging with colleagues from across the state. The unique setting of Yitpi Yartapuultiku offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with and learn from the rich history and culture of First Nations peoples, providing an inspiring environment for professional growth and reflection. A full conference program and presenter line-up will be released in the coming weeks. However, we encourage delegates to register early to avoid disappointment, as places are limited and strong interest is anticipated. Your registration includes morning tea and lunch, ensuring you are well looked after throughout the day as you learn, collaborate, and celebrate the future of Home Economics education in South Australia. We look forward to welcoming you to this landmark event as we come together to honour our history, shape the future, and strengthen our professional community. Thinking about becoming a HEESA member? Individual membership is $80 per year. Join today to save on your conference ticket and enjoy all of the other benefits!
