Springtime at Carrick Hill

Discover the Carrick Hill formal gardens designed by Ursula Hayward and modelled on the English country park. Carrick Hill’s art and craft style garden was once an elegant setting for social events and tennis parties. Following the guided garden tour, you can explore the 1930s mansion at your own pace. There will be time for morning tea, at your own expense. The garden tour is not suitable for those with limited mobility, as there are steps and uneven ground which can be slippery when wet. Please wear closed-toe shoes. 9.40am-2pm Thursday, 22 October 2026 Meet at the Civic & Community Centre carpark, bus departs at 9.45am $15 per person, adults 60+, Town of Walkerville residents only.
