Storytime with Country Music Superstar Amber Lawrence - Noarlunga Library

A special live performance Storytime to celebrate the release of picture book The Suburban Cowgirl. Noarlunga Library is excited to host a special Storytime event with award-winning Australian country music artist and author Amber Lawrence. Amber is a six-time Golden Guitar winner, one of Australia's most respected country artists, and has spent more than two decades connecting with audiences through storytelling and music. Alongside release of new album Suburban Cowgirl, she has also launched her debut children's picture book, The Suburban Cowgirl. The Suburban Cowgirl tells the inspiring true story of a little girl growing up in suburban Sydney who dreams of becoming a country singer and follows that dream all the way to the Tamworth Country Music Festival. The book encourages children to embrace creativity, resilience, self-belief and the courage to pursue their dreams, regardless of where they come from. We can't wait to have Amber at the Library for stories, songs and craft!
