Summer Dance Intensive

Welcome to The Collective. ✨ Collective 27 brings together guest teachers, mentors and industry professionals with one shared goal: to close the gap between studio training and the professional dance industry. Join us for three days of training with artists who've performed everywhere from Broadway tours and Australian Dance Theatre to cruise lines, festivals and the Australian stages. Dancers will train in a supportive, high calibre environment alongside dancers from all different studios across Adelaide. Sometimes one class, one workshop or one connection can become a pivotal moment in a young dancer's career, and we're here to create more of those moments. 📅 Tuesday 19 – Thursday 21 January 2027 📍 Turramurra Recreation Centre, Highbury SA 5089 WHAT'S ON EACH DAY DAY ONE | Tuesday 19 January • Conditioning with Georgia Cook • Jazz with Tayla McDougall • Lyrical/Classical Fusion with Emily Higgins • Contemporary with Summer Dunt • Musical Theatre with Jacinda Tsakalos (Junior) • Theatre Jazz with Joe Meldrum (Senior) DAY TWO | Wednesday 20 January • Conditioning with Tayla McDougall • Commercial with Amelia Tyler • Lyrical/Classical Fusion with Emily Higgins • Theatre Jazz with Amelia Sanzo • Contemporary with Aleisha Burrows DAY THREE | Thursday 21 January • Conditioning with Tayla McDougall & Emily Higgins • Jazz with Tayla McDougall • Lyrical/Ballet Fusion with Emily Higgins • Commercial with Rylee Vormelker • Contemporary with Summer Dunt • ✨ Open Performance: families are welcome to come and watch the dancers perform a Jazz, Lyrical & Contemporary combo, followed by a parent Q&A with the team.
