The Shared Table: Moroccan Spice & Hospitality Date: Saturday 17 October Time: 10.30am – 1.30pm Location: Ngutungka Henley Food is an expression of love, nourishing the body, mind and soul. Cooking and sharing meals brings people together, creating space for connection, conversation and community through shared experiences. These workshops are inspired by the principles of Ayurvedic cooking, a holistic approach that recognises how food influences our physical health, energy and wellbeing. By balancing flavours, colours, textures and spices, Ayurvedic cooking supports harmony in the body while celebrating the joy of preparing food together. In this final session we explore the aromas and hospitality of Moroccan cuisine. A favourite Moroccan saying about food is “When the stomach gets full, it tells the head to sing.” Moroccan meals are designed for communal sharing, bringing people together around dishes such as tagines and couscous. Together we will prepare a traditional vegetarian Moroccan meal using fragrant spices and nourishing ingredients. Cook, learn and celebrate the warmth of Moroccan hospitality.
