About this event
The AWC has run annually since 1984 for witches, occultists and pagans of all paths. It is a significant not-for-profit event for those involved in Wicca and Paganism in Australia, fostering a sense of community, education, and spiritual exploration. It provides a space to learn, connect, and deepen one’s understanding of these traditions.

The conference is traditionally held on the weekend closest to the Spring Equinox, with workshops, classes, lectures, entertainment and socialising. AWC events are held in different locations around the country each year, with different hosts and themes. The 2026 theme is "Weaving Magic Together", with the event trialing a new, one-day format. Cost: $77 | AWC Members $55 Doors open at 10am . Tickets can also b e purchased from the BMI Library This event takes place on Wadawurrung Country. The Ballaarat Mechanics' Institute acknowledges the Wadawurrung People of the Kulin Nation as the first inhabitants and Traditional Custodians of the lands where we work, learn and create. Always Was, Always Will Be, Aboriginal Land.
