Lily Langham Gardens - The Three Chimneys Basalt Open Garden

Lily Langham invites you to her Open Garden at 'The Three Chimneys' in Basalt Victoria. With special guests Natasha Morgan and Jac Semmler On Djaara Country 'The Three Chimneys' is a fourth-generation family farm of gold rush era Swiss-Italian heritage set on five acres of productive gardens, perennial borders and wild grasslands. A Mediterranean climate and the surrounding Hepburn Regional Park and its bushland encircles this secluded island of rolling hills with fair views to Lalgambook (Mt Franklin) and Mt Alexander. Lily Langham has been creating this garden for the past 20 years with her family from a bare paddock with a couple of 100 year pear trees and an old yellow plum. Here is an opportunity to see a bare hillside turned into working gardens. See Lily Langham's gardens in the making, her established gardens and her artwork inspired from them. The day will include: • A plant stall with plants propagated by Lily from 'The Three Chimneys' gardens and hand made goods • Special guest Jac Semmler will be signing her latest book FLOWER POWER aling with her celebrated SUPER BLOOM' • Natasha Morgan will be signing her new book THE PRODUCTIVE GARDEN COMPANION and selling her famous syrups and cold refreshments • The Two Fold Bakehouse will be selling their much renowned Baked goods. • On Sunday 'Made at Yandiot' Andrew will be selling his beautiful handmade garden wears • Tea, coffee will be also on offer Come and bring your family and friends bring a rug or a picknic or purchase some cake! and enjoy a beautiful day!
