Trauma-Informed Care Training - Supporting Migrant and Refugee Communities 🕰️Date: November 11th (Wednesday) @10.00am - 3.00pm 🏢Venue : 25-39 Barkly Street, Ballarat, VIC, 3350, BGT Meeting Room #5, Floor #1, Barkly Square (Information Session Hosted by Ballarat Regional Multicultural Council - BRMC and facilitated by inTouch) Learn about: • The practical skills to provide safe, respectful and empowering support to migrant and refugee individuals and families. • Understanding family violence in migrant and refugee communities. • Recognising trauma responses and triggers. • Learn key trauma responses and a trauma-informed approach (Four R’s). • Build skills to use language and techniques that promote trust, validation and healing.
