Learn Tibetan Buddhist meditation and philosophy with qualified Tibetan teacher Tamkey. Born in Amdo, Tibet, Tamkey made the extraordinary journey on foot across the Himalayas to continue his studies in India. A former scholar and teacher at Kirti Monastery, he has published works on Buddhist philosophy and trained in Tibetan Traditional Medicine. Since moving to Australia in 2012, Tamkey has been sharing the heart of Tibetan Buddhism in a grounded, accessible way—helping students apply ancient wisdom to modern life with clarity, compassion, and purpose. Each session includes a guided meditation, a deep exploration of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, and open discussion in a welcoming and supportive environment. Drawing on the rich Kadampa tradition of Atisha and Dromtönpa, these classes offer practical tools for developing inner peace, wisdom, resilience, and a more compassionate way of living.
