Adult Beginners Sewing: Moorooka

This class is designed for adults who want to learn to sew or who would like to polish their self-taught skills. Bring your current WIP! Content we can cover: • Mastering machine speed • Starting and stopping • Securing threads • Sewing straight lines • Changing direction of sewing • Sewing curves • French seams • Finishing seams (pinking shears, zig zag) • Gathering • Parts of the sewing machine • Threading the sewing machine • Cleaning the sewing machine • Sewing terminology Location: Moorooka Time: We are running two sessions for this class • 9am-12pm • 12.30pm-3.30pm Age: 16+ Requirements: Please bring your own sewing machine for this class.
