Airline Builders | School Holiday Program 2027

If You Could Build Your Own Airline, What Would It Look Like? Over two action-packed days, the Airline Builders School Holiday Program, delivered in partnership with Aviation Australia, invites students to step into the world of commercial aviation and discover what it takes to bring an airline to life. The program will run across two age streams: • Junior Stream: Years 4–6 • Senior Stream: Years 7–10 Throughout the program, students will explore the airlines currently operating across Australia, identify opportunities in the market and develop their own airline concept to service regional, domestic or international travellers. Working in teams, they will choose aircraft, plan routes, design airline branding, create flight attendant uniforms, consider the business model and prepare a final pitch for the Aviation Australia team. Students will also hear from industry speakers, take part in hands-on aviation activities and tour Aviation Australia’s hangar and aircraft training facilities, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at the many careers and pathways available across the aviation industry. Whether students are already interested in a future career in aviation or simply love planes, travel and big ideas, Airline Builders is designed to be a fun, practical and inspiring experience that gives them the chance to create, collaborate and bring their own airline to life.
