Bruce Fummey | The Bloody Funny Birth of Scotland

Join the crew at Good Chat Comedy Club for an hour with hilarious Scottish comedian, Bruce Fummey! Where on earth did Scotland come from? More to the point, who forged it… or should I say battered it into existence? Viking invasion. Murdered kings. The mysteriously disappearing Picts. Somehow, out of all this chaos, Scotland emerged. But how? Scottish comedian and online creator Bruce Fummey steps out of his weekly informative YouTube videos to add more jokes, more laughs and a bit of smut to create the most engaging history lesson you’re ever likely to see. Expect invasion, murder, marriage, religion, political skulduggery, remarkably bad decisions and a surprising amount of comedy. Come for the jokes. Leave knowing how Scotland actually became Scotland. Scottish history has sometimes been this bloody… but never this funny. “You will be hard-pressed to find a more engaging performer on the Fringe.” — Chortle “His research is deep, his timing split-second and ad-lib ability amazing.” — Daily Record “Had the audience belly laughing in seconds.” — Herald & Post By attending this event, you agree not to audio-record, video-record, livestream, or photograph the performance in any form without the prior written consent of the performer and the venue.
