A 50-hour training for psychiatrists, GPs, psychologists, psychotherapists, somatic therapists, counsellors, Indigenous practitioners and allied mental health professionals who want safe, ethical and evidence-informed skills in psychedelic preparation and integration therapy. The course supports clinicians working alongside authorised prescribers within Australia's regulated psychedelic-assisted therapy framework. The focus is on preparing clients well and helping them integrate insights afterwards: stabilisation, behavioural change and long-term wellbeing, all within allied health scope. It blends evidence-informed psychotherapy with contemplative, somatic and culturally respectful yoga-based practice. What you'll learn: • The evidence base for psychedelic-assisted therapy, including its limitations • The roles of prescribers, therapists and allied health professionals within legal frameworks • Preparation sessions: readiness, intention-setting, safety and therapeutic alliance • Integration support that stabilises insights and promotes lasting change • Mind-body approaches to integration: meditation, breathwork, somatic and creative therapies • Trauma-responsive and culturally safe practice • Risk assessment, referral indicators and ethical considerations Note: this training does not permit prescribing, administering or independently facilitating psychedelic medicine.
