DISC After Dark - AA Sundowner Brisbane | Oct 15

You’ve done DISC before. This is where it starts to matter. Most leaders we work with have already been exposed to DISC — some multiple times. But here’s the issue: Very few are actually using it to make better decisions. This Session Is Different This isn’t about colours, personality labels, or theory. This is about using DISC to answer the real questions leaders deal with every day: • Why isn’t my team working? • Why does this role keep turning over? • Why does the same conflict keep happening? • Why do some people thrive under pressure while others burn out? The 5 Practical Tools In this session, DISC is applied through five core leadership tools: • Teamwork – Why Teams Aren’t Working Understand where behavioural styles clash, where communication breaks down, and why issues keep repeating. • Right Fit – The Right People in the Right Roles Identify when people are misaligned to their role — even if they’re capable, loyal, and hardworking. • Recruitment – Stop Hiring the Wrong Fit Learn how to profile roles before hiring so you stop repeating the same recruitment mistakes. • Conflict Resolution – Take the Emotion Out Use DISC to manage conflict practically — without emotion, guesswork, or avoidance. • Stress, Retention & Turnover Understand why some people burn out, why others cope, and why roles keep turning over. What Makes This Worth Your Time This is a high-energy, practical session focused on real business application. No theory. No fluff. Leave with: • Clear insights into your team dynamics • A sharper view of role fit and hiring decisions • Practical ways to address conflict and retention issues • Immediate actions you can apply in the business 🍻 Sundowner Networking After the session, stay on for a relaxed AA sundowner with drinks and some light snacks. 👉 Practical takeaways first. Conversations and connections after. Important Note If you’re looking for a basic introduction to DISC, this isn’t it. If you want a practical, commercially focused approach to improving team performance — you’ll get value from this.
