GPN Brisbane Term 4 2026

In this workshop we'll be making an arcade style game in Python where a hero runs around the screen grabbing candies. Come along and learn about making characters appear and move - the basis of any game. How many candies can you catch? Students don’t need to have any programming experience to come along, we’ve got something for high school aged girls and gender-diverse students of all levels. We’ll cover the basics if you’re new to Python and show you some extra cool stuff if you’re already a programming pro! Lunch and snacks will be provided for students. Please use this Humanitix site to sign up! Building location will be announced at a later date. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can no longer attend so don't over cater and can offer your place to another student.
