Henna Your Hair At LUSH North Lakes

Have your hair hennaed in-store by one of our team! Select your shade, and sit and relax as our all-natural hairdye is applied. We will wrap you in a hairdressing cape, but do recommend against wearing your very best clothes just in case! Henna is best left on the hair for a couple of hours, so you can wash this out at home. (You can take a few samples of our incredible shampoos and conditioners to help with this.) We suggest you either bring a showercap or old scarf, or purchase one of our hair dye wraps. How does it work? Henna contains a pigment called lawsone that has an affinity to the keratin in your hair. It adheres to the cuticle, adding a layer of sheer colour without changing your natural hair colour. This will very gradually fade over time. We add cocoa butter because it softens and aids slip through the hair as you apply and enables us to make a solid, self-preserving product.
