Every second Sunday, we’ll be heading to Portside Wharf for a family-friendly walk where everyone is welcome to come along, connect and enjoy some time outside together. Whether you’re a working mum who can’t make our weekday walks, looking for a weekend activity with the family, or simply want to meet some new mummas, this walk is for you. Hot Mum Walk Club is all about creating a safe, welcoming and empowering community for mums. Whether you’re flying solo, bringing your little ones, or inviting a support person along, it’s a space for connection, conversation and a whole lot of self-love. Meet Summer — Your Hamilton Hot Mum Walk Club Host! Hey hot mummas, I’m Summer 💗 I’m a 32-year-old American who has called Brisbane home for the past five years. I became a mum for the first time this year and am now navigating the juggle of motherhood and returning to work part-time after a short maternity leave. I’m all about iced coffee, shopping, reality TV and a cheeky Diet Coke at night 😂 When I’m not in mum mode, you’ll probably find me scrapbooking, hanging out with my little boy and spending time with my husband. I have one beautiful 8-month-old son I wanted to become a HMWC host because I wanted to create a weekend walk for working mums. So many walks happen during the week, which can make it difficult for mums who have returned to work to find the time to build their village. I also wanted to create a space where partners, dads and other support people can join from time to time too. What I love most about Hot Mum Walk Club is the chance to get outside, get my steps in and connect with other mums. Sometimes you just need to get out of the house and move your body with people who get it ☕ Go-to coffee order: Large iced latte with skim milk ☀️ Ideal morning: A slow morning with my son, watching old Disney movies and having breakfast together. Milk bottle for him, coffee for me. ✨ Fun fact: I've lived in Australia since 2019 but still have a very strong American accent us My message to other mums: "Just come! Get out of the house and come. You never know who you might meet or how much better you'll feel after getting outside and connecting with other mums." ✨ What to expect at my walks: High vibes, plenty of energy and a Sunday reset before the week begins. We'll get our bodies moving, have a chat, explore the local area and hopefully leave a little of that mum-life stress behind. We'll enjoy a relaxed 2–5km walk around Hamilton and Portside, with the route adapting to the group on the day. This is your chance to get outside, reset before the week ahead and connect with other mums, including those juggling work and motherhood. Come for the walk, stay for the chats and coffee.
