Kids Classes 3-Week Term October 2026

Give your child simple tools for calm, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. Our Meditation for Kids classes are designed to help children learn how to relax their mind, understand their feelings, and develop positive habits for everyday life. Through gentle Buddhist teachings, short guided meditations, and fun creative activities, children discover practical ways to stay calm, kind, and resilient. Each session includes: • Simple, age-appropriate meditations • Easy-to-understand Buddhist teachings • A creative craft activity to reinforce learning • A supportive and friendly environment Based on the compassionate teachings of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, these classes help children learn how to: • Calm their mind • Deal with negative emotions • Build confidence and inner peace • Develop kindness towards themselves and others Meditation gives children lifelong skills they can use at school, at home, and with friends. By learning how their mind works, they gain greater emotional balance and a stronger sense of wellbeing. Term Dates Sunday 26 July Sunday 2 August Sunday 9 August Time: 9:30am – 10:30am All children are welcome. No previous experience is needed. Suggested age range is 5-11 years.
