Knit Easy Fingerless Mitts

A knitted rectangle can turn into a fingerless mitt. Start to explore various ways of combining knit and purl stitches. Practise all the combinations using 10g-20g of 8 ply yarn and then start the rectangle using your special yarn choice. You will complete the knitting at home and then seam the sides leaving a gap for your thumb. $50 covers tuition & pattern. You can also book in-store. BYO: • 8ply or 10ply yarn • Knitting needles - 4mm or 4.5mm, depending on your yarn • Optional: stitch markers, scissors, blunt darning needle A wide selection of knitting needles and yarn is available for purchase in store. Choose from new or pre-owned. You can also test drive needles from Josephine's personal toolset to see how they feel to you. Your Tutor: With almost 60 years of experience, Josephine has extensive knowledge of knitting. She teaches knitting to others and regularly adds new techniques, patterns, and methods to her skill set. While our address is on Main Rd, our shop is located at the rear of Tanja’s Café, on the corner of Oceanic St and Pye Lane.
