KRANK - Fishing by the River Registrations open Mon 7 September 2026 at 9am School Holiday Fun! FISHING BY THE RIVER • 5 - 17 yrs • Logan City Council residents • Fishing gear supplied • Bait supplied • Bookings essential At a 2 Bent Rods activity, you will learn the basics of fishing including how to tie fishing knots, bait hooks, cast a fishing rod and learn plenty of tips to make your next fishing trip a successful one. All activities are taught by our patient fishing instructors who all have Blue Cards for working with children. You will also learn about Carp & Tilapia and the rules surrounding them. They are an invasive species of pest fish found in the waterways of Queensland. We recommend you bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen and wear clothes that can get wet.
