Armour up a real robot, then push your rival out of the ring in fast sumo-style duels. Tune your design between rounds, sharpen your strategy, and battle through a double-elimination tournament — until one bot is crowned Ultimate Challenger. LEGO Challengers is an action-packed robotics workshop for kids aged 8 and up. Builders transform EV3 and Spike Prime robots into battle-ready machines with their own custom LEGO armour, then put their designs to the test in head-to-head duels — with practice fields on hand to refine and improve between matches. Guided by BotBuilders' own senior robotics students, it's fast, fun and full of friendly competition, introducing real engineering through creativity and iteration. No experience needed; just bring your competitive spirit. And it's for a great cause. BotBuilders is a not-for-profit youth robotics team based in Brisbane. Every ticket goes straight back into the team — funding competition entries, equipment, and free STEM outreach to schools across Brisbane — so a few brilliant hours for your kid also helps power the next generation of young engineers.
