Music of Estonia

Music of Estonia Lumens Chamber Choir & Symphoria Discover the extraordinary musical landscape of Estonia as Lumens Chamber Choir and Symphoria join forces for an evening of evocative string and choral music. From the rich, Romantic warmth of Heino Eller’s Five Pieces for String Orchestra to the haunting beauty and spiritual stillness of Arvo Pärt’s Berliner Messe, this concert celebrates the distinctive musical voice of a small Baltic nation with an extraordinary cultural heritage. Lumens Chamber Choir will showcase the richness of Estonia’s choral traditions through works by Cyrillus Kreek and Margrit Kits, while Symphoria explores the lyrical beauty and folk-inspired character of Eller’s string writing. The two ensembles will unite for performances of Pärt’s Berliner Messe and Riho Esko Maimets’ Ave Maria, bringing together voices and strings in a celebration of musical expression, reflection and beauty.
