Peter James & Jack Knight | JOKE ABATTOIR (Work In Progress)

Join the crew at Good Chat Comedy Club for a split-bill work in progress hour with Brisbane favourites, Peter James and Jack Knight! Peter James is quickly making a name for himself on the Australian comedy circuit. He’s performed multiple sell-out solo shows to audiences across the sunshine state, as well as at the Adelaide Fringe, Brisbane Comedy and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, where he garnered four and five-star reviews. He’s supported critically-acclaimed international acts, such as Doug Stanhope and Steph Tolev, and most recently featured on a 56 show tour around the UK in support of Nurse Georgie Carroll. Peter is also one half of the late-night, cult-comedy sensation ‘Shad and Pete Save the World!’, which routinely features some of the biggest names in Australian comedy as special guests. In addition to all of this, he remains relatively normal. Jack Knight is not well, as evidenced by the way he looks, the way he smells, and the things he says and believes in. Despite this, Jack has somehow risen to be one of Queensland's cult favourite comedy acts. A much sought-after talent in the Sunshine State, Jack fits performances in between causing fight-or-flight responses down at public parks. Having supported the likes of Mel Buttle, Sam Campbell, and Dan Rath, Jack has cemented himself early into cult-comedian status, and is admired amongst his peers as one of Australian comedy’s most unique emerging voices. In summary, Jack Knight is a weird little freak. Catch him on stage before he drives a Ford Falcon into the Barrier Reef and is never seen again.
