Full description from organizerShow less
"While Joan Lindsay’s novel has long been defined in the public eye by its cinematic counterpart, Tom Wright's acclaimed theatrical adaptation reimagines the mystery from the ground up. Eschewing traditional movie realism, the stage version uses a stark, contemporary theatrical lens—relying on an ensemble of actors, razor-sharp dialogue, and psychological intensity rather than sweeping cinematic vistas. It is a bold, modern re-examination of a classic, built specifically for the live stage."
