Roller Dance Skills Workshop - All Levels

ROLLER DANCE WORKSHOP — ALL LEVELS The point is to explore something different every week. I’ll announce a new style each week and we’ll play with it together, sometimes working in pairs, sometimes flowing around the rink on our own, and sometimes taking inspiration from dance styles from around the world. We might bring some of that movement onto skates, take the skates off for a bit, or mix it with artistic skating and roller dance. There’s no one formula here, that’s kind of the point. The style of the week will be announce prior to the class. Note that this is not a "Learn to skate" class. You should be comfortable skating forwards and backwards, stopping and balancing on one foot. From there, come with an open mind and let’s see where the movement takes us.
