Keep your clothes out of landfill and discover how slow stitching can be both relaxing and rewarding. Learn handy stitching techniques to create beautiful repairs that celebrate the mending process, resulting in beautiful one-of-a-kind garments. • Learn and practise common stitches used in mending • View examples of slow stitching mending including boro, sashiko, embroidery, appliqué and patching • Identify which mending techniques work best on different fabrics and garments • Create your own stitch sampler to take home • Receive a slow stitching fabric pack of your choice to take home for mending your own clothing • Tea, coffee and snacks provided • Meet like-minded people in your local community :) Note: Minimum 3 people to go ahead.
