Success St Bushcare

Come and help us restore the riparian vegetation of Success St Park at Acacia Ridge. Volunteers from CreekWatch (OCCA's Industry group), local business Rockpress and the community have been working together for 10 years to remove weeds and litter, and plant native seedlings along the banks of Oxley Creek. Everyone is welcome to attend, and no prior Bushcare experience is necessary - we'll teach you everything you need to know. Peaks to Points Festival: During the Peaks to Points Festival the Success St Bushcare group is hosting a tree planting to celebrate National Tree Day and National Landcare Week. Join us on the 5th August from 7:30 - 9:30 am. Morning Tea will also be provided. Please remember: • To wear enclosed shoes and sun-safe clothing (e.g. long pants, long-sleeve shirt) • To bring a water bottle, hat and gloves (if you have them) Additional Information: • Please note that this event will still proceed in light rain • If cancellation of the event is required due to adverse weather conditions then you will be contacted via email no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the event • Morning tea and all equipment are provided • Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian If you have any questions then please get in touch via [email protected]
