Swing Patrol East Brisbane - Lindy Hop Intensive - 2026

A slower-paced, focused course designed to really grow your dancing — working on technique, core balance, flow and confidence. Across this two week intensive, Leigh & Scottie will dig into the nuts and bolts of your Lindy Hop dancing. We’ll work on your Swing Out, strengthen your leading and following skills, and help you find more balance, control and flow on the social dance floor. A big part of the course will be individual feedback. We’ll take the time to look at your dancing, identify what’s working and, importantly, what you can work on to take that next step forward. If you’ve been craving some useful, honest feedback, this is the course for you. It’ll still be positive, upbeat — but underneath the fun, we’re here to do some real work on your dancing. Slow it down. Fine-tune the details. Take your Lindy Hop to the next level. DATES: Mondays 19th & 26th October 2026. TIME: 7.30 - 8.30pm. Please note that drop-ins are not available, pre-registration is essential. You will not be able to pay at the door pro-rata for single sessions. This is a closed course to ensure a cohesive learning journey for everyone involved. We try to maintain a fairly even ratio of Leads and Follows, to ensure optimum learning for partner dancing. REFUND POLICY If you are unable to commence the course due to illness, cancellation and refund is available if you text Swing Patrol on 0412 309 311 prior to 10am on the day the course commences. After this time, no refunds are available. Full payment is required to register for the course, and no partial refund will be available for participants who miss a session.
