Join Sony Advocate Brett Harris and Camera House at Toohey Forest, home to native birds, possums and koalas. Home to native birds, possums, and regularly sighted koalas in the canopy. Popular Trails: Includes the easy-to-moderate Toohey Ridge Track and Nathan Ridge Track.Rainbow Bee-eaters: Arrive in spring and are highly active catching insects. Striated & Spotted Pardalotes: Busy entering nesting hollows and tunnels. Sacred Kingfishers: Vocal and active establishing territories. Koalas: September marks the start of the koala mating season in Toohey Forest, which drastically increases the chances of seeing them moving around lower in the trees.
