Bring a poem, bring a thought, bring a few words or simply come and listen. 🌿 Poetry has a beautiful way of taking the things we carry inside and rearranging them into words sometimes helping us express what can be difficult to say in ordinary conversation. The Carers Hub Poetry Club is a warm, relaxed space for carers to explore words, creativity and connection. You don’t need to consider yourself a writer or a poet. There is no right way to participate and no expectation that you share. 📖 Read, listen, write & explore Bring along a poem you love, share something you’ve written, play with words and create something new or simply sit back and listen to what others bring into the room. 💛 Move feelings through creativity Writing can give thoughts, experiences and feelings somewhere to go. A few carefully chosen words can make us laugh, move us, surprise us, help us understand ourselves differently or remind us that someone else has felt something similar. ✨ Inspiration moves both ways You may hear someone’s words and find they spark something in you. And without even realising it, something you share may inspire someone else.
