Go Clubs Workshop Series: Disaster Preparedness and Business Continuity Workshop With the wet season approaching, now is the time to strengthen your club's preparedness for unexpected disruptions. This practical workshop will help clubs and community organisations build resilience, respond effectively to challenges, and recover more quickly from events such as severe weather, vandalism, theft, facility damage, and other operational risks. Using a Business Continuity Planning (BCP) approach, participants will gain practical strategies and tools to keep their organisations operating during disruptions while protecting facilities, assets and community programs. The workshop will also explore crime prevention, facility resilience and risk management. Built around the Prevention, Preparedness, Response and Recovery (PPRR) framework, participants will leave with practical resources, including a Business Continuity Plan template, to support resilience planning within their organisation. Attendance: We strongly encourage participants to attend in person to maximise networking opportunities, peer learning and engagement with the facilitator.
