Rainforest Rugrats Nature Playgroup - Thursdays Term 3 2026

Join us for our nature playgroup, Rainforest Rugrats! Designed for families with children under 5 years of age (particularly those aged 2–5), each week we explore a different beautiful outdoor location across Cairns, allowing families to connect with nature, build community, and enjoy quality time together. Our sessions include circle time, nature-based craft or sensory activities, and plenty of child-led play, exploration and adventure in the outdoors. Every location offers something unique, from rainforests and creeks to parks and gardens, making each week a new experience. Session time: 9:30 am – 11:00 am Please bring SunSmart clothing, enclosed shoes or water shoes (depending on the location), a change of clothes, a water bottle, snacks, and mosquito repellent. Tea and coffee will be available for caregivers. Location: Rainforest Rugrats is a roaming playgroup, with a different outdoor location each week. The meeting location for each session will be listed on the event page and emailed to registered families before the session, so please check these details before attending.
