YOGA + SOUND | Nepal Flood Relief Fundraiser

The recent floods in Nepal have caused widespread devastation, displacing communities, destroying homes and leaving many people without access to basic necessities. Damage to roads and infrastructure has made reaching some of the hardest hit areas incredibly difficult, while people on the ground continue working to get food, medical supplies and other essentials to those who need them. In response, an independent group of volunteers, many from Nepal's tourism community, have come together to help, pooling their time, resources and connections to get practical support directly into affected communities. WHERE YOUR MONEY IS GOING One of those volunteers is Ramesh Tamang, founder of Community Trek. Ramesh has guided Sarah on every journey she has taken through Nepal and over the years they have become good friends. Having someone we know and trust already on the ground gives us the opportunity to send the money raised directly to the people doing the work and know exactly what it is supporting. So far, the group has prepared 200+ rescue bags with essential shelter and relief supplies, including tarps and tents, warm blankets, sleeping mats and sleeping bags, warm clothing, raincoats and shoes, ready to eat food and water, water containers and jerry cans, solar and battery powered lights, hygiene kits, dry bags, first aid and baby supplies.
