Floriade About Town Poppy School Holiday Lantern Workshop Inspired by the Poppy Lantern Workshop and Walk with Tracey Johnson at Poppyfield Commons on 27 September, our Placemaker and artist Gemma Bonshek Kane will lead a simple poppy-themed lantern-making workshop in the school holidays. The workshop will run for two hours and accommodate up to 25 participants. Participants may choose to take their completed lanterns to the Floriade NightFest lantern walk or keep them at home. Lanterns will be inspired by the onsite Floriade Poppy Selfie Spot, and the Poppyfield Commons display of completed lanterns through the Tracey Johnson Poppy Lantern Workshop. For ages 6 -12. Children will need a parent or guardian present.
