About this event
This free event is the culmination of CMET's Light Rail Local Reads initiative run with support from Libraries ACT. From August to October everyone's invited to enjoy books by local authors Jack Heath, Robert Macklin, Sulari Gentill, Chris Hammer, Karen Viggers and Andra Putnis, turning our light rail into a commuter book club.

People can borrow the books (physical, digital, audio) with a free Libraries ACT membership and follow on social media for special content and the chance to share your thoughts on these great books. On Saturday 24 October some of our local authors will join us for an exclusive and free onboard reading event! Listen to authors bringing their books to life while you travel through our beautiful city on our stylish and comfortable light rail vehicles. Don't forget to drop into Gungahlin Library before you board!
