Painting with Yamile Tafur Rios

You’ll explore a variety of surfaces, including canvas, paper, and wood, learn how to prepare and prime each one while discovering which suits your style best. Throughout the course, you’ll develop essential skills such as paint application, mixing and thinning, layering and blending, and using a range of brushes and tools to achieve different effects. You’ll also begin creating your own compositions, working with diverse subject matter such as still life, portraits, and animals and wildlife. No prior experience is needed; just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
