Springtime in the Kitchen Garden

It's spring and the garden is beautiful and full of life - and there's lots to do! We'll be watering, weeding, harvesting and enjoying For ANU staff and students. Come along and help with getting our kitchen garden plot ready for the burst of life that spring brings. You don't need to be a gardener, you don't have to know about plants - just come along and have a go and we'll teach you what you need to know. Our herbs, veggies and flowers are growing like crazy but so are the weeds! We'll be weeding, watering, harvesting and planting seeds. Things we'll be doing during this session: • harvesting flowers and herbs for herbal tea mixes • pulling up weeds • eating flowers (we'll show which ones are safe and delicious!) • planting seeds • having a snack and a drink • chatting and making friends Come along and enjoy some time in the fresh air and sunshine, connecting with nature and other students and staff. Please wear closed toe shoes :)
