Teaming with AI: Getting Consistent and Reliable Results

Venue confirmed: UNSW Canberra City, Building B01, Seminar Room B01.0.24 As AI becomes more embedded in everyday work, many teams are finding that prompting alone doesn’t solve for consistency, and that getting reliable results requires more than trial and error. One person on the team gets great outputs, someone else asks for the same thing and gets something completely different. You find a prompt that works, then next week the model updates and it doesn’t work as well anymore. This hands on session gives you the personal and team systems you can put in place to increase consistency and reduce re-work. It also lays the essential groundwork you need for building reliable agents. You'll explore how to move from one-off prompting to a more deliberate working relationship with AI: Defining the capabilities and constraints of your tools Turning your approach into a reusable skills file, and Identifying where human judgement, review or escalation need to sit. What to bring Bring your laptop, one recurring task or workflow that you currently use AI to support (or want to use AI to support), along with any examples, guidance or source material that can be safely used during the session. About the facilitator Gayatri Kotnala helps organisations move from ad hoc AI use to more reliable and practical ways of working. She is the founder of .Pypline, a firm focused on designing AI systems and ways of working around human judgement. Her background is in strategy and operating model design. Through .Pypline she has built and deployed AI tools used by hundreds of users, trained teams to work more effectively with AI, and designed custom agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude and ChatGPT.
