THE JOY DINNER CANBERRA 2026

Join us for dinner! We love to catch up about this time every year to put a spotlight on mental wellbeing. Join us for an unforgettable evening where mental wellbeing takes center stage - served with a delicious 3-course dinner. This unique event brings together seasoned speakers including medical professionals and pastoral care workers for a holistic exploration of mental health topics. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, or simply seeking clarity, this night offers real tools, heartfelt stories, and hope-filled guidance. This is a sponsored event valued at $124pp. We would love to offer it at no cost, however we have learnt from experience to put a small price ($35-$65) on tickets to reduce "no shows". We also think it's pretty cool to take the opportunity to raise funds for our favourite mental health charity (Lifeline). This fifth edition promises to be a fun night with great food, great entertainment, and great insights from our speakers on: Healthy Masculinity - Dr Ehssan Sakhaee (Senior Lecturer in Professional Practice & Leadership, University of Canberra) Midlife Matters - Dr Debbie Obatoki (General Practitioner) Self Leadership through pressure - Dr Niyi Borire (Neurologist) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - Practical applications - Dr Stephanie Ajulo (Psychiatrist) Overcoming Addictions: My success story - Amanda Banks (Teen Challenge) Defining Peace - Pastor Nick Hind (C3 Belconnen) We look forward to seeing you!
